Our Mission

'Our Mission is to provide a caring, nurturing environment for children in the Brackla area of Bridgend, by working in partnership with parents/carers and external agencies to meet the needs of the children.

We will offer an environment that is stimulating, safe and structured so that the children are encouraged to explore.

Our dedicated, committed team will ensure that children are nurtured, cared for and educated in an environment that they will enjoy'

Our Aims

'A Bright Start' Day Nursery provides full and part time day care for children aged between 6 weeks and 7 years 11 months. We will support and work closely with parents/carers in the upbringing of their young children. 'A Bright Start'will be open throughout the year from Monday to Friday. Children can enjoy excellent facilities and tender care for the qualified and experienced staff chosen to work at the nursery.

We aim to provide an environment which will allow the children to grow and develop physically, emotionally, socially and morally. the educational activities, the toys we will provide and the choices we encourage them to make for themselves will help encourage both independence and self-confidence.

Our main aim is to produce happy, confident, enquiring children interested in life and enthusiastic about the challenges they encounter.

We will encourage the children to develop as individuals and to live sociably with others, with a positive attitude to differences of sex, race, culture, religion and disability.
